If your total household income is the same or less than the amounts on the Income Eligibility Chart below, your child(ren) are eligible to receive free or reduced price meals.
If anyone in your household (other than a foster child) has a case number for: Basic Food, FDPIR, or TANF, all children will qualify for free meals. Please fill out an application and list the case number.
Foster children who are the legal responsibility of the Department of Social Services or court are eligible to receive free meals.
Children certified as homeless, runaway, or migrant are eligible to receive free meals. Please contact, our Homeless Liaison at 360-978-4111 option 1.
USDA CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAM

HOUSEHOLD is defined as all persons, including parents, children, grandparents, and all people related or unrelated who live in your home and share living expenses. If applying for a household with a foster child, you may include the foster child in the total household size.
HOUSEHOLD INCOME is considered to be the income each household member received before taxes. This includes wages, social security, pension, unemployment, welfare, child support, alimony, and any other cash income. If including a foster child as part of the household, you must also include the foster child's personal income. Do not report foster payments as income.
How To Apply
To apply for free or reduced priced meals for your child(ren), please apply online in SkyWard Family Access or complete the meal application below, to the attention of Mr. Jerry Carlson, and return to any Ony school office or school food service worker or mail to 540 Carlisle Ave., Onalaska, WA 98570 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Duration of Eligibility
Your child's(ren's) eligibility is in effect from the date of eligibility for the current school year and for up to 30 operating days in the subsequent school year. However, this does not apply when the initial eligibility determination was incorrect or when verification of household eligibility does not support the level of benefits for which the household was approved.
You may apply for free and reduced price meals at any time during the school year. If you are not eligible now but have a change such as: a decrease in household income, an increase in household size, become unemployed, or receive Basic Food or TANF for your children, you may fill out an application at that time.
